| there are some bands out there who are mostly male or female fan-based. what do you think the vines are?
i have a gut feeling that they're mostly males, but at the same time, i can see quite a few girls getting into the, so the ratio, i would like to believe would be maybe 65/35? | |

| I've never met a person who has already heard about The Vines, so I can't really judge.. I'm a girl though, so I believe in the exsitence of the female fan-base  | |

| I can only judge based on the crowd at the Sydney show at the Metro earlier this year (the other show I went to was when the Vines opened for Powderfinger so it doesn't really count). I didn't really take much notice of the male/ female divide but I think there were definitely more guys, though there was quite a few groups of young girls all together. I wouldn't hazard a guess at a ratio though haha. | |

| I would guess that the broader fanbase is mostly males, but from what I have observed, a larger proportion of the more "obsessive" fans seem to be female. That could possibly be due to Craig's boyish good-looks, but I would like to believe that is is purely the result of the fantastic musical output. | |

yes. craig is quite the looker. i use to be obsessed, but i grew up. those girls who just like TV just cuz of craig's looks needs to grow up!  | |

| I don't consider girls you only like a band because a member or two is cute real fans.
