MALENA!!!! I have been a fan ever since I saw your drawings on the Vines fanpage on facebook! I LOVE all your covers and your videos are beautiful and very creative! (Homesick and Winning Days video were amazing!)
Also, I loved your 19-2000 cover, it was very different from the original and I am a fan of Gorillaz as well.

I've played piano for many years, I also play alto saxophone (because I am in band at school), and recently I have been trying to teach myself guitar. I saved up for an electric guitar and am slowly learning chords, haha.

I had a teacher for some years and I was always taught classical music. I hated it when I was little but I think when you grow older, you start to like it and appreciate it more and find the compositions really interesting. I've always been fascinated by people who could improv with blues and jazz. There was this kid in my school who was extremely good at that, and he would have all the piano solos in jazz band. Yes, unfortunately a lot of rock songs don't contain piano, muse and oasis are two I can think of right now... Haha that's why I'm trying to teach myself guitar.
I don't have lessons anymore because of school so I rarely play classical anymore, mainly for piano I just mess around now. For songs I like I've been trying to play them by ear on the piano for the guitar parts. And also just composing stuff on the piano, short bits and pieces.
