Shouldn't we have like some kinda of title page or introduction page at the start of the book like the old Art project?
Like saying who contributed and saying thanks for the music and whatnot.
Someone can draw something of craig or snippets of albums covers and write a letter on it with all that.

Yes there will be a title page like last time but we can brainstorm ideas together.

I would LOVE to be involved! Since I am a fairly new Vines fan, can someone tell me what kind of drawings and sorts were included in the last compilation? I need some ideas.

If you're not that artistic, it's okay to write a letter, a giant birthday card or send a gift in 2-D form.

And everyone, send as much art as you possibly can, I want to fill out one of these:

I'm just thinking, for the title page, we could have drops of watercolour paint in red, blue and yellow to tie in with the future primitive album artwork, with "The Vines Art Project 2.0" at the top or something? The one before had "Winning Days" drawings on it so why not continue on from that?

Sure. I have watercolour paints and gouache (like watercolour paints but more opaque) and paper for it (needs to be thick otherwise it will warp). I can do some abstract piece similar to the album cover and glue the letter over it.

The Art Project sounds like an Awesome idea..It's definitely a Great way to show our continued support for Craig and The Vines..I would luv to be involved in this project, and although I'm not really that artistic with drawing or painting etc, I do own a large collection of Vines memorabilia which is very special to me, and I think a collage made from photos of my collection might be a nice addition from me to this project. Also a few special words..
Kitty If there is anything else I can do to help out with this project, Please don't hesitate to ask I'm more than happy to do all I can to make this project a very special gift for Craig

I've just been thinking about how I'm getting all this Vines-related mail in the next couple of weeks.

Oh well, my mum was a Bay City Rollers fangirl. She made the front page of the newspaper when she was a teenager when she was campaigning with her friends for BCR to come play at her town. It think she passed it onto me.

OMG I'M IN!! I don't know how i've missed this thread! I don't know what i'm going to do yet because i'm not very artistic but i want to participate

Like I said before, you can just write a letter, send a card, postcards or gifts that can be inserted into an envelop of some sort.

I also thought about using an A3 hardcover sketchbook that I have and paint the cover in all these bright abstract colours like the Future Primitive album cover with gouache/acrylic. Inside I would stick all the letters and artwork inside with double-sided tape/glue. It has 100 pages and 150 gsm and looks like these:

Though I'm not sure of how much mail I'll be receiving. Male just sent hers now and should arrive in about a months time so you'd better start as soon as possible send off your letters/work before the end of July/mid-August.

Ohh, this is so so so exciting! I'm so glad this is going ahead and now I really need to think of something I can send in.
