Re: the new members:

"I think [Tim John and Lachlan West met Craig Nicholls] through their old booking agent or their old manager. He was saying Craig was looking for a drummer and bass player.
Those two guys are best buddies and have been in bands together since the beginning of when they started playing music, and obviously Craig was just blown away because they could improvise so well. They learnt all The Vines’ songs instantly.
It is still the case that Tim and Lachlan are in The Vines. And the new Vines record is done. And I’ve heard it, and it sounds good. … [But The Vines] doesn’t get in the way of The Griswolds.
I think The Griswolds are the priority for the boys, and The Vines sort of fits in around it."
