Wicked Nature

I would like to say that I bought Wicked Nature on vinyl today. I wasn't going to, but there it was sitting on the store shelf!

Let's talk about some WICKED bass lines!

How does the new lad Tim John perform on the record? I would say very well; perfectly tight!

My favorite bass line is in the song "Fly Away". It has a very cool little melody. "Clueless" is very Beatles as well, maybe something you'd hear during magical mystery tour/abbey road.

Witch songs do you all think the bass is bumpin' on?

Psychomatic has good bass lines, especially the lead-ins to the verses. Killing the Planet has some good Beatlesy bass lines in the chorus too! Overall though Tim seems to stick fairly tight to the guitar notes.

most Vines bass lines tend to just follow the guitar. that's why I love the intro to He's a Rocker, that bass line stands out so much!

I like the way the bass follows the bass drum on "Love Is Gone". One of the first features I noticed on that song, which makes it even cooler.

Wow, your interview is awesome . It was really nice to see some different and more interesting questions, after all those similar articles about the new album.
Also, I'm very exited about their plans for some oversea shows. I hope they gonna play in Europe

Thanks, you guys! ^_^ Originally someone else beat me to interviewing them (originally was meant to be both Lachlan and Tim) but he was so kind as to give it to me in the end so I really tried to put some slightly different questions in there, ones that fans might be curious about. Tried to be a bit risky (like with the question about about ex-members) but I didn't want to overstep the mark. Real happy with how it turned out, Lachlan is really nice and eloquent. Glad you liked it.

Fall is here in the Northern hemisphere, and as the leaves turn colors and the cold wind rushes in, Wicked Nature prevails. I'm still listening to the album almost daily, and gotta say it fits perfectly with the fall weather.

Totally absolutely has to finally be the fockin' Littlemore/Launay album. Tim & Lachy said they'd heard 2 of the songs & that they're 'fucking awesome', so, it exists.

I bet it's that too coz they didn't post the picture on The Vines facebook or instagram, just retweeted it. And they're still promoting Wicked Nature and the other guys have probably been too busy with the griswolds to record.
