| Perhaps a strange choice, but I quite admire Jim Carrey. I don't enjoy his comedy films, but as a serious actor, he is rather brilliant. I also like Christian Bale (although, I hate him as Batman). ...and I mustn't neglect to mention dearest Jimmy Dean. | |

He seems cool though. YOU NEED TO SEE REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, NOW!!! He's also in films like Fight Club, American Psycho, Girl, Interrupted... surely you've seen one of those? He's actually quite a stunning actor.

I actually sat through some awful movie called Megafault just because she was in it and she looked really hot. Looking back, it was easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Pretty sure they spent about £5 on the special effects.

Norman Reedus is quite good, yes. ^^ That name... - Howl wrote:

Omg, I love you. I mean... I don't know anyone who likes Jim Carrey. I have always liked "The Truman Show". And... Well, I want/have to (I told myself I have to do it ^^) watch... OK, that's how I remember films... You know, the one where Kate Winslet has her hair dyed blue and red and the film was directed by Michel Gondry who also directed "Science of Sleep" starring Gael Garcia Bernal and Charlotte Gainsbourg . Cillian Murphy once said that he'd like to star in a film by Gondry. You've got to love him. The title is quite long. ^^ Ah... "The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Hello, James. One thing I have to admit... I have never watched a film with James Dean. In fact, I haven't seen many films made before 1965. From the 60s alone, I can only think of... "A Hard Day's Night", "Help!", "The Knack", "2001: A Space Odyssey"... Um... not many more. I also haven't seen "The Godfather". I haven't watched "Titanic" in its entirety. Once, I watched the second half. But it was not exciting enough to see the first half. It was not as bad as I thought it would be as a child though. - Howl wrote:

I'm not one to go to the cinema very often and I am resistent to fame. And... I don't know... I am too... sceptical about most films. I don't know exactly why, but I am working on it. I watch films like I should learn for university... My problem is... as soon as someone says that a director is good... I am very... sceptical. ^^ Because... I don't know... It's usually the big ones. I like Sofia Coppola and Sam Mendes quite a lot. But apart from that... At the moment... I want to watch every film that Thomas Newman has scored. XD I have a growing list. My priorities are like this... Road to Perdition, Less Than Zero, Desperately Seeking Susan, Light of Day, Lemony Snicket's: A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Player, The Iron Lady... Something like that... And the remaining 50 something films... And James Bond. XD Maybe I'll really watch it in the cinema. I just need someone who joins me. Plus, I am very sceptical of Daniel Craig. He does not seem very interesting to me. You see, when a lot of people like an actor, I expect him or her to be exceptional.

I skipped past that one. Nice... Admittedly, I already had a crush on the guy when I saw Death of a Salesman in 2005. - Howl wrote:

haha. It's a screenshot from the film Velvet Goldmine. It's kind of an awful film in that it takes notable figures of '70s music (Iggy Pop, David Bowie, etc), pinpoints their most rudimentary/superficial characteristics and builds fictional, totally unbelievable characters. Bale and his character save it. It's got a great cast...but something is so off about the whole thing. However, a lot of people like it, so don't listen to me! ha

| Yeah, I liked him in the film. His character had some kind of twist.
Also, I was excited about a scene with Ryan Pope, who I know from the series "Ideal", which is probably one of the strangest English TV shows ever.
I can relate to what you say about the film. The film does have a great cast. I also love Ewan McGregor in it.

| In the past three months, I've somehow managed to watch every Cillian Murphy film. It's probably not a coincidence that I chose them to watch... | |
