idk about an all tiem favorite song. i love the harder ones.. scream, merrygoround... outtathaway... but their slow songs are also amazing.

My hold on the real world is rather tenuous, to say the least, and whenever I feel like vaguely reproaching myself for being such an incorrigible daydreamer, I think about that last line and I instantly feel better haha.

Kara Jayne....for its simplicity and sheer brilliance. It's pure genius. A timeless masterpiece in my view.

I can relate to this so well. Craig's lyrics are among some of my favourite lyrics in the world and Winning Days is a great example of a Vines song that is as vivid, expertly crafted and gentle as a sweet painting of nature, and as emotional as a personal poem. I adore songs like that which explore emotions (even if they're not the nicest of emotions) so honestly and personally. They make me feel like I'm in safe hands and I feel at peace, like everything is understood and has been processed and a future is planned, like the chronological sequence of album tracks.
